Being located on the beach was fantastic, but we were not informed about its closure for two days, which really impacted our stay. Staff communication regarding the beach situation was lacking.

The location is ideal, right on the beach, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with amazing pillows. However, there was a lack of nearby dining options, forcing us to take taxis for meals, and our room had a very noisy refrigerator. Additionally, staff were unhelpful in communicating that the beach would be closed during our stay, leaving us frustrated after expecting a full beach experience.

Communication regarding services feels scattered. for instance, the restaurant isn’t part of the hotel, leading to some confusion. Housekeeping seems hit or miss. despite requests made well in advance through the app, I had to manage cleaning up after kids to stave off chaos. Plus, the pool towel situation was often a shortage, leaving guests scrambling for coverage under the sun.

I had a lovely stay at Sonder in Deerfield Beach. The beautifully clean room with two king beds provided plenty of space for relaxation. The staff were cute and the beach location was convenient. Just a note, the beach could use some maintenance. A good experience!
